Mooncake festival

Last Saturday morning, I went to Mei Mei's house at 8 a.m.
Mei Ling saw me when I reached, I'm still in my yellow car at that moment when she signaled me to wait, then I parked my car opposite their house and came down, soon as I decided to wait inside the house instead.

Then I went up to Mei Mei's room, she popped out I'm able to hold the doorknob. She was shocked. Anyway, we waited for Sarah to come, to guide us to Raphah Ministries at 35, Jalan SS2/2, PJ. For awhile, we listened to news from TV, updates about earthquake in Padang, Indonesia.

Sarah came with her future Abraham and F-I-L, I drove my car with Mei Mei, following from her back, she looks happy, kept waving to us. :)

The seminar titled, "Healing Families & Generations" and the verses picked from Malachi 4:5,6 NKJV stated,
"Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD, and he will turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers, lest I come and strike the earth with a curse."

One must heal him/herself before healing others, in other words, I must be free from past issues before my family and generation is healed and free from issues, specifically state the bad issues before our Lord, Jesus. Acknowledgement is the first step (one step at a time, acknowledge your shortcomings and weaknesses, followed by the need for humility (recognize that we don't know everything, "God, help me to be humble").

After seminar, as planned earlier, I went to fetch my eldest sister from her work place, IBM, One World Hotel beside One Utama shopping center.

Mei Mei followed Sarah's car, finally reached home around 5.30 p.m.

I don't remember what time I reached home, I just remembered, after that I took bath and dinner, heading to fetch Mei Mei around 8 p.m. for Mooncake Festival at Eunice's house. Fetched a few of Aeris's friends - Jenny, Wendy & Audrey (all names ended with y) before moving on to fetch Melia (our guide to Eunice's house - thanks), went from one hill to another, then reached Eunice's house.

Some youths were enjoying there when we reached, while others were on their way. Each of us brought one mooncake, and also our own lanterns (some of us including me didn't manage to bring).

We enjoyed fellowshipping with each other, trying to catch up with some of them on what's going in their life. After had the light meal - meehon, jelly with durian, jelly with corn, 2 types of dessert drink 'tong sui' : red bean & soya, we walked around the neighbourhood with lanterns, took a few photos, etc. Played 'Werewolf' game using casino cards, similar concept as the 'MAFIA' game. Good game - smart little girl managed to escape from werewolves, all 7 werewolves died.

Then we head to our homes after all the celebration and cleaning.

BIG thanks to Eunice & her family, who's willing to spare their house for us. :)
