My 21st birthday!!!

It's my family's tradition to celebrate it 'BIG' at 21st birthday...mother chosen 21st June, Saturday, 2 days before my actual birthday...invitations via mouth & sms have been sent 4 days before the day...some turned out, some didn't managed to, some came without knowing what's going on (just passing by)...
Received prissies of course, the most in this year...quoted from one of my friend, "It comes with price!" It's true especially when I've invested some amount of cash on the food and invitation...thanks to all friends to passed the news! I sincerely apologize to those I'm not able to reach to tell you about this news...
It had been a great day for me...was happy, excited, and touched by all who came...and those who wished...

My most useful presents are school backpack and wallets (2)
most cute is a fun toy which needs solar power to move sideways, which actually looks like the person who gave it to me (joking), and a big snoopy soft toy (which is almost my size)
most memorable gift is big photo frame with photo of sweet memory with fellow friends...as well as greeting cards (some hand made, by 2 creative friends) with memorable messages...
received some car decorations useful for my yellow car...blessed the owner and the car as well
most valuable are ornaments (but it's not key...I guess the tradition of giving key, faded just like that...sad case but I've got cross, good enough to show my identity)
most practical thing is of course cash$$ (angpaus)
Most helpful is of course NLT study bible and devotional book from my brothers and sisters in Christ...what I wished to own was owned...
Thanks a millions to all who made my day so special even though it's not my actual birthday...

On my actual birthday, I was surprised by 5 ladies who actually planned for my birthday celebration at Secret Recipe...well, I was 'cheated' to fetch a few of them (1 became driver of my car), 2 went by their own...thanks for doing it behind the scenes...was surprised, yet felt weird seeing 1 of them was sitting inside waiting...before we enter...the surprised was successful with a bit weird feeling (knowing that what will go on next)...6 pieces of different flavours of cakes...thanks a lot to these 5 ladies...who made my actual birthday memorable...

Journey...

Well, have been journeying from Monday to Wednesday...well just 3 days 3 nights...
But that 3 days, 3 nights have made my days full of actions & tired,
also enjoyed...

after confirmed with Kath the day before,
journey started on Monday,
fetched sis & met Kath at the One hotel...carpool with Kath...journeyed to UTAR, Setapak.
back from UTAR, lingered in One Utama while waiting for sis & have fine dinner together at 'Pasta Zanmai', I believed it's owned by a successful entrepreneur, nice design, creative & middle-end, customer service was efficient...Great!
'Zanmai' means 3 flavours in Chinese, according to Kath, at that moment only she who knows how to read Chinese character though...this is a Japanese restaurant! the entrance is narrow, as you go in, you realized it doesn't look like restaurant, because you will see Japanese food & products display for sale first, then only you see dinner tables & chairs for customers, and the kitchen is in the middle surrounded by a see-thru glass, which allows customers to see the chefs' demonstrations. Wow! The wall was decorated with mirrors, so it (space) looks larger.
According to Kath, there is another Zanmai in Sunway Pyramid, but it's not Pasta, instead it's 'Sushi Zanmai', could be the franchise, since the design is almost the same.so, this is the chopstick cover, we brought home as souvenir ;)

we were told to grind black sesame seeds by our own, it's like we are involved in preparing our meal! it's kind of cool though! and I learned that black sesame is called "Goma" in Japanese, which reminds me of one of my CG member..(LOL)

1st served: salmon pasta with black sesame sauce (nice!)

Set of chicken & mushroom pasta with salad & miso soup (my flavourite soup)

and last but not least, green tea ice-cream with fruits & red beans

walked in Jusco & bought some stuffs before heading home...well, we were having leisure time walking like nobody's business...(laughed)...
that end our 1st day & night

2nd day, same place but I follow Kath's car to UTAR instead of carpooling...because I'm not fetching my sister home...nothing much after class just went home using the usual way back, MRR2 ...rest for a while after lunch then went to Tesco Extra...bought some ingredients...etc.
heading back home, then prepare to go for Lin's 21st birthday party, will be BBQing...went with Lisa & John, reached early, helped to prepare the meals, and start BBQ, ended with cutting cake ceremony & pictures taking...
so 2nd day & night ended like that

lastly, 3rd day
morning went to UTAR, slept in library for ~2 hours (was a gloomy day) while waiting for the next class
after class finished, joined the CF for the first time in UTAR, it was great to meet new people, by the way I'm the new member, (most of the members are from sarawak!) everything were doing good, as usual have speeches, ice-breaking (fun!), worships, testimony (very good!)...see some potentials in those who handle the CF...fellowship...great experience...it's a good start :)
then went home, drove in rain, just in time to fetch my sis from LRT station...good timing...& it's time for Mei Mei to fetch me to celebrate Florence's 27th birthday...
well, time just enough for toilet break...sigh...kind of rush (like amazing race)
reached her house, and surprised with the birthday cake...she said long time never receive cake for birthday and was touched...thanks for Andrea who cooked the pasta, also Ps. Noah as a good husband who also cooked for the dinner...we reached with red wine brought by Alexis...then few guys reached while we were having our dinner...toast to her birthday! while Baby-G were cheering for her mother.. :)
also end with cutting cake ceremony...
went home...and bathe, get ready for race! well I'm scheduled to fetch my 2nd sis who's coming back from Sarawak, after her discovery at Mulu cave and brought back her own 'souvenirs' on her legs..poor thing (have some blue-black a.k.a. bruises & cut)..well, the cave is dark!

so, this was taken by my 1st sis who accompanied me to fetch my 2nd sis and her fellow friends to LCCT (was last Saturday early in the morning, came back using the same route which is on Wednesday night) , Putrajaya Link has been a very convenient route to KLIA & my hometown in Dengkil (seldom use to Dengkil though, the toll is expensive RM 2.50)...
3 day & night ended at 1 am..zZZ

flash back last Saturday, after long journey to and back from LCCT, we went for jogging then had dim sum :) then fetched bro to & back from tuition...then rest...

Sunday was Father's Day celebration...

today, 4th day & night (not much journey), just as usual, went to UTAR, after class came back then fetched bro to tuition, went for dinner with sisters (McD), sis commented "not much food to eat in Sarawak" (LOL)...came back bathe & went out again to buy some groceries while waiting for bro. fetched him back home...

and now journey ended here, hopefully!...but, the possibility is low though...the journey will continue with restless weekends...what a week...hoping I could finish my tasks for the week before due date!

Happy Father's Day!

A wishing for all fathers:
HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!
Also to those single parents who have taken both father's & mother's responsibilities.
Thanks to father who earn money for our family's living...
though you are not always present at home...still we believed in future, you will spend time with us as a whole family...always been waiting for the moment of a whole family dinner (7 of us only) rarely happen...but I'll still wait...

Pruned!

I was pruned physically...
After learning about pruning the night before then the next day I was pruned by my hairstylist!
Such a quick move...to apply it..so "I'm pruned!" (at the moment just physically, hopefully will be pruned spiritually, soon!)
It happened last week Friday night during CG, I learned about:
1) "We will be pruned" John 15:2
2) "We will be fruitful"
John 15:5, 8
3) "We will be prayerful"John 15:7
4) "We will be obedient"John 15:10

The next day after drum class, then I went to salon to be pruned...

This is how I look like few days after my hair curled and a day after it's pruned!

Before & After effect:
