Those were the time...

As the title expressed: Those were the time captured during last year's Genting Trailblazer.
:) I was with my team mate (who are in her veteran age). We wore the 'Genting Trailblazer 2007' dry-fit orange T-shirts to indicate that we are one team (just for fun).

In this video it captured the time we were helped by a very tough, Malay man. He pulled up both of us together using both his mighty strong hands (Bravo!). This is the spirit of helping others. Really Thank God for sending him to help us, if not we will end up 'stuck' in the mud pool.

It also captured us running to finisher line (not so obvious, probably too fast).

Slippery roads

Few days had experienced slippery roads due to raining cats and dogs...
I would say it is not an easy "job" to drive during rainy days especially when it's dark and raining heavily which eventually leads to flood.

Driving back using MRR2 is not a good experience because when there is rain...there will be flood which usually flooded one of the lanes...this will definitely cause jam...because cars will shift to another lane where the water level not that high...at least the tyres not submerge in the flood...

Anyway, just some notes to share while driving during heavy rain....

1. Turn on your car's head lights when it's dark (so that other driver can see your car)
2. Drive slowly especially down the slope and about to turn into junction
3. Stop slowly and gently while still in jam (because it's slippery!)
4. Do not change lane, unless is necessary (it's dangerous! other vehicles might not see your car changing lane)
5. Use signals when necessary (for changing lanes, turning junction, emergency stop at side of road)
6. Stop slowly and immediately turn on double signals (this is important especially when you experienced water splashing from other vehicles to your car's windshield, which immediately block your front view)
7. Always check your car before journey (especially to long distance journey)

What the H***?

What the Haze!?

So, it is haze 'season'....ever since 1997-1998, haze became a normal phenomenon (during this period) in Malaysia...at least that is what I observed in Kuala Lumpur.
So, it has been a decade or so K.L. experiencing haze especially during August-September. Not every year though...maybe it skipped...

The fact is it was caused by neighbour country and Malaysia itself.
But why during this period? Maybe it's summer? El Niño (hot)? La Niña (cold)?
It is noted that sometimes La Niña follows El Niño...

Anyway, my purpose is talk about haze
Usually, my nose not sensitive to smell (food), but somehow it's sensitive to smoke (especially from cigarette! I hate!) ...sorry...but I really sensitive to smokers' smoke...

due to haze, plus smokes (from smokers), plus carbon monoxide (from vehicles), plus those open burning, joss stick & silver papers (especially during Hungry Ghost Festival...only apply to Chinese believers)
all these 'dirtied' my lungs, causes me to have difficulties to breath...sigh...therefore...it causes disease such as sore throat, dried and irritated eyes, flu, cough... etc. etc.

due to 'unhealthy' environment, healthy activity like outdoors activities (cycling, jogging, outdoor sports) seems turn out to be 'unhealthy' to our body...so bad,

such a bad things that happened...
just to voice out...

Still coughing but not constant...luckily...well have been sensitive to my own health especially cough, because I started to cough since my childhood, even before primary school period...it healed during upper primary though...after I took Chinese traditional medicine/herbs...that was when I almost reach to the point of experiencing asthma...Thank God..it never happen. Whenever I start to cough, I would have phobia, fear that the history may repeat... (a bit dramatic)
