Borneo Run & KK

It's labour day and I'm running on that day and it's Sunday (you should be able to guess which date it is).

I would say its the best run so far for this year because along the way there are people cheering and some of them are from befrienders, they are very supportive. One of them shouted, "The stadium is there only (pointing to the stadium) keep going, you are so near!)  Besides, water (not cold water though, its room temperature - maybe the organizer should improve in this) and fruits stations are enough for my category 10 KM run. I began with very relaxing way, running at my own pace enjoying the scenery (seaside) and the people there, some people walk along pushing the wheelchair (looks like from charity society). It does boost up my mood of the day. :) The run starts at 6 a.m. sharp (and the sun is risen, the sky is bright), I reached around 7.15 a.m. to be accurate is 1 hour 12 mins 05 seconds (according to my result posted on the website). My morning run is always faster than my evening run (reason maybe the morning me is not as heavy as the night me - lighter therefore run faster, the truth is yet to be discovered).

The night before I ate quite heavy dinner (fried rice and fish with gravy, hot-dog with cheese inside) at Maple, Damai, with my friend and my sister.

After the run we went to Skyline, the church in a 5 stars hotel (Sutera Harbour), nice scenery outside - beach, seaside, boats, ships, etc. Met beautiful people in the church, they treat us very well - serve with food and drink at fellowship corner after morning service. We chatted a while there, gathering info and knowing each other. Then we had lunch together at Kedai Kopi Jia Siang - we had pork noodle (famous and recommended) and cendol.

It's night and we had seafood for dinner - lots of variety and it costs RM70 per head, there were two tables booked by the runners, we joined in because my other sister knew them quite well. The runners are mostly jokers - laughing all the way with alcohol effect (beers), but not me (I had orange juice).

Monday morning we had breakfast together with the fellow runners at Kedai Kopi Melanian, also famous with pork noodle, same area as the place we went on Sunday.
